How it works
OGS 2 is a standalone unit installed inside or in the vicinity of the engine room. It is a five step filter system that evacuates oil-mist and gases from the crankcase via suction. It then separates and further cleans the valuable lubrication oil in the oil-mist from fuel rich exhaust gases and contaminents.The cleaned lubrication oil is returned to the oil sump and then exhaust is routed back to the engine intake.

Has no effect on Oil-Mist-Detectors
Crankcase exhaust is automatically opened to prevent over pressure when OGS 2 is not in use.

Average lubeoil consumption the last 10 years have been
20-25 ltrs/day
Usage > 300 days per year
Earlier lubeoil consumption from 47 to 90 ltrs/day
Lubeoil saving in 10 years >60.000 ltrs
